 2Week Tour Nitin Sharma Helsinki, Finland May 3 – 14, 2010
Mr. Nitn Sharma, Sr. Sales Manager visited Helsinki from 3rd - 14th May to “meet prospective and existing clients and deliver that human touch”.
Travel Notes It was a beautiful summer weather complemented by mesmerizing mild breeze from Baltic Sea, which provided a comfortable stay to Nitin during his 2 weeks Helsinki trip. The best part of the city was its compactness and everything was just a walk or cycle-ride away. Being the amalgamation of bustling adventure and serene natural settings, Helsinki is considered to be one of the best places in the world to live. The heart of the city pulsated with activities and acted as a meeting place for residents and visitors alike. The capital had a quaint feel to it with prevalence of 19th century antiques.
Finland being the home ground of Nokia, its dominance can easily be traced out. It’s also found Helsinki’s economy is open and therefore the dynamic hub for international business. Finnish people were possessing the highest levels of work ethics and trans-sectoral skills needed to sustain and succeed in the global economy. The stay was successful as Nitin could meet 26 prospective and 2 existing clients. The Finns extended a warm welcome to him, and were delighted after receiving specially crafted handicraft items from India.
Tech Notes Some of the interesting technology and business trends observed during the meetings in Helsinki are:
-
High level of enthusiasm for mobile application development
-
Demand for Business intelligence and web development professionals
-
Openness of the economy providing conducive atmosphere for business to flourish
-
Ideal testing platform for innovations and new technologies
