 2Week Tour Neil Sharma Oslo, Norway June 14 – 25, 2010
Mr. Neil Sharma, Sr. Sales Manager, visited Oslo between 14th – 25th June to reinforce our commitment to “meet prospective and existing clients and deliver that human touch.”
Travel Notes No sooner Neil landed at Oslo; he could breathe the crisp, fresh and unpolluted air. Oslo is one of the smallest capitals in Europe and is the largest city of Norway. Oslo boasts of some incredible sights. The wide open skies and pristine surroundings promised Neil the right ambience for a cozy retreat for the coming weeks. Oslo city is an amalgamation of impressive medieval architecture, friendly people and bustling locales..
He soon discovered that cost of living in Oslo was extremely high, in fact it was the second highest in the world standing just next to Tokyo. Oslo also happens to be the business hub of Norway. Each day, thousands of people come here to work and get back by evening. On weekdays, the city is generally overcrowded because of this floating population.
The landmarks are the Cathedral, parliament building and the pedestrian friendly parade street. Getting around in Oslo is quite easy because of the extensive network of transportation. Neil’s trip proved to be a huge success as he was able to meet up with all the scheduled appointments and has commendably sealed 6 closures during his trip.
Tech Notes Here are some of the interesting technology and business trends observed during the meetings in Oslo are:
- Top priority given to iPhone development
- JAVA development much sought after
- High demand for ASP.NET development
