What to know about buying prescription drugs in Michigan

We can give you a hand in finding a reliable and affordable pharmacy in Michigan. These pharmacies offer a wide range of products, but we’ve also stayed true to great customer service.

1. HomeTown Pharmacy
Rating: 4.8 (82 reviews)

“Pharmacist Erin opened the door back up and turned off the alarm after closing time because HomeTown Pharmacy had shut the door in my face. She not only stayed 40 minutes late on a Saturday night filling my prescriptions, but she also dealt with CVS to figure out how to send me home with medicines they had already filed on my insurance. She’s amazing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!”

“Outstanding customer service! They work to save you money. It’s nice to have a pharmacist that cares about you and your family’s health. Can’t go wrong here.”

2. Highland Pharmacy
Rating: 5.0 (11 reviews)

“You wonder why there’s so much turnover at the pharmacy. The customer service sucks. It’s Highland Pharmacy. Nothing to see here. Move along, move along.”

“Great people! My insurance would not pay for one of my prescriptions, so the pharmacist gave me a discount card, and I paid only 10% of what the prescription was worth it. Most pharmacies wouldn’t do that. He took the time to help me out so I could save money.”

3. ViaQX Pharmacy
Rating: 4.6 (54 reviews)

“Everyone was super nice and helpful at ViaQX. Fast service, and I didn’t have to wait very long to get my new prescription filled. Everyone was very personable.”

“The best pharmacy we have ever done business with. The staff is friendly and truly cares about the patients in making sure that patients receive their prescriptions in a timely manner. They are always willing to go above and beyond and communicate with physicians and insurance carriers without hesitation or complaining. We cannot thank this pharmacy enough for helping us get a prescription that our 3 months old needed asap.”

4. Jensen’s Community Pharmacy
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)

“Mark at the drive-up window was very helpful and efficient. Thank you, Mark, for making my first-time visit memorable!!”

“I tried calling in a prescription for one of my patients, and Jensen’s Community Pharmacy tech is so rude, asked me if I can be on hold, and without waiting for my answer, she automatically put me on hold. I waited 6 minutes and 58 seconds to call in 2 prescriptions, and she has the audacity to tell me to slow down after being on hold for a long time afterward. Besides the fact that she’s a pharmacy tech and not even the pharmacist. I have to be on hold for another 4 minutes for the pharmacist.”
