In today’s world Social Media is the heart and soul of any business. It does not mean that other things are not important but, businesses which have presence in social media platforms have an edge over others. Therefore, every website you find on the web has some or the other social media icon on their pages as everyone wants to be at top of the race.
But, the important question here is: Can social media practice be done alone? The answer is a big “NO”. The word “Social” of social media itself explains it. For example – Let’s say I post a status update on Facebook. Then it becomes visible to my contacts only. If one of my friends share this update of mine then, the visibility of my update reaches a different audience altogether even though they are not connected to me. Similarly, a post by Mindfire can reach a wide variety of audience if all of us share it on our wall.
This was only about Facebook. Now think of how many social platforms every one of us uses every day. Most people use Twitter, LinkedIn at least apart from Facebook, some write blogs etc. If this update is shared across every platform by everyone at Mindfire, the reach would be huge. This will not only increase the chance of increasing our business but also, spread the name “Mindfire”. Growth in business for Mindfire means: better growth for its people, better facilities, and finally better benefits for employees. So, why wait so long? Let us start sharing!
I know every one of us makes a New Year resolution each year but then, how many really stick to it?
I would not strike out any figure but let’s be honest and ask ourselves, have we really stood up to our previous year’s resolution? Most of us might have even forgotten their last year’s resolution. I understand that a year has 12 months = 365 days = 8760 hours = 525600 minutes = 31536000 seconds which is a lot of time to remember things if we move towards the right side of the equation. But, instead of doing that let’s stay at the left hand side and then, the journey is short.
As the year 2012 ends within some days and new rays of 2013 will glitter on us, let’s leave our mistakes behind and pump ourselves up to start a new year with a new mission. So, this New Year let’s make a resolution to get “Social” and make Mindfire a better workplace.
