Debasish Das was one of the brightest minds to have started his career at Mindfire Solutions. He was a B.Tech from JITM with an MBA degree from IIT Kharagpur. It was his simplicity which endeared him to every soul he met in his lifetime. An epitome of positive energy, his love for life was unmatched till the fateful day when his journey through the mortal world was cut short by a fatal road accident. It was one of Debasish’s wishes to organize an IT quiz of this scale as he strongly felt that events of this nature will provide an excellent learning opportunity and exposure to the youth.
Taking Debasish’s thought forward , Mindfire Solutions organizes an IT quiz every year dedicated to him. The participants include students from various Engineering and MBA colleges. They go through various rounds of elimination before reaching the finals. The theme of the questions in all of the rounds is based on Information Technology. The top three teams earn a total prize money of 60,000 INR. There are also plenty of audience prizes given out during the course of the event.
With every passing year we intend to make this event better and more interesting.
