ManagementMindfire Solutions is led by an experienced and competent management team. This premier team gets together years of technology and out-sourcing experience. Rajeev Kumar, our Chief Sales Officer (CSO), has been with Mindfire for about 10 years. Prior to Mindfire, Rajeev worked in software engineering and program management roles with Infosys and HCL Consulting in India, and Microsoft Corp in the US. Rajeev earned his BE (Computer Engineering) from NSIT, one of India's leading engineering institutes. He has continued further learning from institutes such as IIM-Ahmedabad and is also a PMI-certified Project Manager. Rajeev has been a crucial player in Mindfire’s journey from a small start-up to a mid-size organization, growing from Principal Engineer to Chief Sales Officer - moving through various roles in engineering and sales. Jim Norris, our Vice President of North American Sales brings a wealth of experience to Mindfire Solutions in his role as Vice President of North American Sales. He has over 25 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, Process Development, Engineering, Quality Management, and Materials Management. He has held various positions at IBM, Silicon Graphics, Solid Data Systems, and Gearhead Engineering. Jim possesses a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Chico State University and a Masters in Engineering from Stanford University.. Shahzad Akhtar, our Chief Learning Officer (CLO), has been with Mindfire for 12 years - "since Day 1" is an easier way of putting it. Shahzad has unparalleled passion for work, learning and knowledge. His personal interest in core technologies and innovation has led to some very interesting areas of work - in challenging projects ranging from 3D mobile games to hardware interfacing projects, and large-scale multi-year C/C++ desktop systems development projects. Along the way, he also led Mindfire Labs. In his role as CLO, he touches and inspires every individual at Mindfire to pursue higher goals in Learning and Knowledge. He completed his BE from GB Pant University. Mr. Soumya Mishra heads Operations and Facilities management. Soumya worked with the $40m JMBaxi, a multi-national shipping and exports company. After shipping, Soumya took up responsibilities with Euclid Networks, a US-based networking company. Having managed several facilities and network implementations, Soumya sets up additional infrastructure to meet our "spike-demand" without batting an eyelid! Our Head of the Bhubaneswar Engineering Center, Ms Sonali Bhuyan, has occupied similar positions in the business of off-shore software out-sourcing. She has perfected the art of making customers comfortable with the remote development paradigm, and of providing appropriate facilities for engineering talent to deliver. Sonali completed her post-graduation in Political Science from Utkal University.
