Mindfire's early investment into building a mobile workforce which withstands unforeseen instability and disruption, paid off this month when entire India came to a screeching stop because of the 2-day Nationwide bandh (Trade Union Strike). At Mindfire, however, it was business as usual as people worked from the comfort of their homes from their official laptops, being connected with each other all the while. Foresight into future and meticulous planning well ahead in time prevented major work impact in such times. |

FluidXpertise is an in-house system developed by Mindfire Solutions to enable flow and availability of expertise throughout the organization. The system, based on Collaborative Intelligence, bridges the demand and supply of expertise. Work becomes smarter by making expertise available in its hundreds of people (supply) to specific expertise required by someone in a certain situation (demand). Currently in its internal beta rollout mode, the system is slated for a full release by year-end. The company expects to file patents for some of the unique elements implemented in FluidXpertise, by end of 2013. The vision is for clients to work with one or few people at Mindfire, but to get the benefit of its entire workforce! |
