Mindfire Solutions has recently released "Multi Lead Address Holder", a plug-in compatible with MS Dynamics CRM 2011. This plug-in can hold more than one addresses per lead, a feature that was not possible with CRM 2011. Apart from this feature of the plug-in there are certain other features as well like assigning the address to accounts after the particular lead gets qualified and converted into accounts, supporting “Account Entity” that allows to display the lead address in the converted account entity, easy to integrate and use. 

Mindfire Solutions has recently released another DNN module - a financial module called "MfStockChart". This module keeps the user updated with the financial market. User can keep an eye on the turbulent world of stock market on their DNN portal. It has numerous features that makes this module easy to use and effective. This module is compatible with DNN 6.0.1 and above.

Mindfire Solutions attended Asia's largest open source conference i.e. OSI Days held at NIMHANS Center, Bengaluru from 20th - 22nd November, 2011. Some of Mindfire's open source team members were a part of this three day mega event to learn latest developments and trends in the open source arena. They attended various sessions and also got a chance to interact with peers and other eminent personalities from the industry.

Mindfire Solutions recently celebrated its 12th Anniversary. People were invited to a small party in the evening where they were in high spirits and later rocked the dance floor. The celebration started with cake cutting and speech by our CEO showing us direction for the forthcoming year. Many of the older employees also shared their experiences.

It has not been a month since the release of RSSFeeds Webpart and Mindfire has come up with yet another Webpart in SharePoint 2010. This Webpart named "Notification Webpart", is a simple webpart which provides notifications of birthdays, joining anniversary and marriage anniversary of users in the SharePoint site. The standard message varies depending upon whether the looged in user has his/her own occasions or of any other user. Messages will also change according to the event. This webpart requires SharePoint 2010 foundation, Microsoft.Net version 3.5 or higher and Internet Explorer 7,8, or 9. This webpart is available for free download on Mindfire Solutions website.

Mindfire has released a control in SharePoint 2010 named "RSSFeedsWebpart" recently with the aim to allow user to enter multiple RSS url into a list. Based on the feeds available for each of the url, the webpart will display the feed details. It also has the feature of a timer job which is run on the web application level to fetch feeds from the RSS url present, at regular interval of time. This webpart requires SharePoint 2010 foundation, Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 or more higher version and IE 7,8 or 9.

Its only been a month and Mindfire has come up with yet another DNN module called MfsSliding. This is a free module designed to work only with DNN websites. Its an image slider with descriptions as detail view and auto sliding thumbnail view. It has been distributed in two sub-modules and these sub-modules can be placed in any pane of the page. It also helps site administrator to upload images with details. This module is designed to work with DNN 5.5.1 and higher and supports .Net framework 4.0.

With an aim to contribute to the CRM society, Mindfire Solutions released an add-in for CRM users. This was developed and tested in-house. It is an interface that allows CRM users to add or update multiple records for any CRM entity. It also enables CRM users to save a lot of time thereby improving their performance. Its very user-friendly and allows CRM user to perform insert/update multiple entities at a single place. It supports various data types and two different modes. This add-in is compatible with MS CRM 3.0/4.0.

Mindfire recently released MfsPolling module in DotNetNuke. This was developed in-house by our DNN team. It provides website visitors a platform to share their ideas and vote on topics asked. It also helps to gather opinions/views from the users and site visitors and helps to run poll in a site to collect information about a particular topic. This DNN module developed can also be integrated in intranet site to run a poll inside an organization. The power to edit and set time of poll has been given to the administrator only. This module is compatible with DNN 4.9.3 and above, and DNN 5.x.

Mindfire has reached 700 people with 160 and 30 people joining our Bhubaneswar and New Delhi ADC's respectively this month. These people are mainly freshers recruited from various institutions across north and east India through campus hiring. They are now undergoing training sessions and would soon be assigned to different development teams.

Mindfire Solutions stuck to its commitment of investing in its people. Mindfireans attend leadership training program held at Indian Institute of Management, Banagalore from 20th to 22nd June. The program focused at improving leadership qualities within a software professional and also aimed at highlighting the interpersonal behavior of the professionals impacting their managerial effectiveness.

Mindfire Solutions, recently attended ISQT Step Auto International Software Testing conference held at Bangalore from 9th-13th May 2011. The conference saw great response from software testers, testing experts/gurus from all over the world. Our represantatives also got a chance to attend sessions and discuss opportunities in Software Testing with these Testing experts thus enabling them to enhance their testing knowledge.

Mindfire Solutions attended the annual Microsoft Tech Ed India event held at Bangalore between March 23 - 25, 2011. This event is primarily for tech professionals looking to learn, connect and explore current and forthcoming Microsoft technologies, tools, platforms and services. 16 people from Mindfire participated in this event this year for hands-on learning, deep product exploration and opportunities to connect with industry and Microsoft experts one-to-one.

Mindfire releases a Servoy application named "mfModuleAppointments 1.0". This generic module can be embedded with any existing Servoy application to serve user appointments. It is a user friendly interface, which facilitates the users to create & manage their appointment schedules. It's compatibility with both Smart and Web client and availibility of multi language support makes it more effective.

An award ceremony was hosted on the 18th March 2011 to felicitate the winners of the "Mindfirean of The Year (MOTY)" award 2011. This award was given to people who have displayed outstanding qualities in their work and shown utmost dedication & commitment in the year 2010. A total of 29 employees were awarded with certificates, trophies & cash prizes. This initiative aims to appreciate the real talented & hardworking people at Mindfire. Mindfire plans to make it an annual event.

Mindfire Solutions conducted a Mega IT Quiz "Debasish Das Memorial IT Quiz 2011". This event was organized by Mindfire in association with March Ahead at Bhubaneswar, with potential media partners being Times of India (Print), RedFM (Radio), Naxatra News channel (Television). The event was for students of various Technical as well Management colleges of Orissa and was a huge success. We had 120 teams attending this quiz out of which 6 teams were shortlisted for the finals. Teams from XIMB, Bhubaneswar grabbed both 1st and 2nd position whereas NIT, Rourkela took hold of the 3rd place. Mindfire plans to make this an annual event.

Mindfire Solutions releases the updated version of life saving app i.e. iAirbag 1.1. The previous version iAirbag was developed by Mindfire in memory of Debasish Das, a former employee of Mindfire who met with an accident and lost his life. In order to help mankind Mindfire came up with an idea to develop a mobile app which can provide a helping hand to us while meeting with an accident. iAirbag detects accidents so that help can reach before time runs out. It also detects the unexpected stillness and swings action. Airbag 1.1 is available on iTunes for free download.

Mindfire has launched the iHelpSOS application for iPhone. It is a free to download utility app available on iTunes. The app is helpful for people on the go. It has emergency call numbers of different countries stored in an easy to access manner. In addition, frequently visited countries can be added to favorites list for instant access of the emergency call services there.

Mindfire Solutions was one of the participant at Servoy World 2011 Conference held at Amsterdam. Arup Ranjan Sahoo, one of its Servoy developers represented Mindfire. This conference was Servoy's sixth and largest International conference for developers and ISVs. There were more than 200 Servoy developers attending from all parts of the world. The conference showcased Servoy6, ServoyForge, Servoy Commons Frameworks, SutraCMS, Servoy and Google Maps and many more informative sessions.

Mindfire's Bhubaneswar ADC which is currently operating at Tower-2000 in Bhubanesswar has acquired 4th floor space which is of 10,000 sq ft and will accommodate 250+ workstations more. Previously, Mindfire was operational in the ground floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor of Tower 2000 accommodating 300+ employees. Fourth floor would be fully operational within six to eight weeks. This new space procurement is just the beginning of Mindfire 2.0.

Mindfire Solutions conducted a Medical Camp for the poor and needy people, at Bali High School premises on 23rd January 2011. This was a small step in trying to help the people who cannot afford proper health and medical facilities. Specialties include Pediatrics, Gynecology, Eye, Medicine, ENT, Dental and Homeopathy.

We developed MS Office 2003 plug-in (Word2003Redirector). The Word2003Redirector is a plug-in for Microsoft Word 2003 that bypasses the normal file saving/opening of Word application and saves files directly in to a centralized SQL Server database and allows user to retrieve files from the database. This plug-in and other freeware plugins which we developed are available for download.

Mindfire Solutions has established a second Engineering Center at Bhubaneswar in the eastern state of Orissa, India.
