GPS History Analyzer

This application involves analyzing the GPS position history record information of a vehicle, transmuting raw data into useful units and saving them into data store for future usage. Its primary aim is to assist other server-side programs to balance the run-time load for better efficiency and scalability. The original application was in VB 6.0 and the client was interested in migrating it to the .NET platform. Mindfire’s team was involved in migrating the VB6 application into VB.NET, fixing issues with the old code and converting the legacy system into a multi-threaded application.
