WordPress cruise management portal

Designed and implemented a WordPress based online cruise management app that allows user to find their dream cruise within a minute with the best deals. We strictly followed responsive styling using media query. We have created a robust quick search functionality which allows users to search available cruises. The cruise result/listing page has a functionality to further refine results by applying various filters. The search page also has options to sort by price, duration, departure date etc and it utilizes infinite scroll functionality to get the next set of results from the searched cruises. Once the user finds a suitable cruise, they can request a quote to the website admin about certain cruise.

When someone requests for a quote, then the quote is emailed to site admin and also saved into a proprietary CRM system by consuming their APIs. The website has custom newsletter signup module where the users can submit their email-ids and those will be saved to WordPress database so that the site admin can send newsletter to set of users/groups using custom newsletter templates. We have also used HTML5 Geo location to detect the country of the user and accordingly render the international contact number on the site.

We also implemented a highly customizable admin panel from where the admin can update almost everything on the website. For the cruises we have created different modules like Cruise, Ship, Cruise Line, Destinations etc. So, the admin can easily add/ update/delete any data using very easy to use interface. In order to bulk upload cruise data we have created 2 types of excel importer one is for importing the cruise and related data such as ship, cruise line etc. and another is cruise itinerary data.

The site has also theme option panel from where the admin can manage different aspect of the website like update website background image/contact details/manage default phone number of the site etc. We have also created custom modules to manage deals etc.
