This database contains information related to community, phase, supplier, labor etc. There are several forms (such as maintaining Temp Labor, Purchase Order, and Inspection Cycle Time etc) and reports (such as Cost, Labor, Test Listing, Purchase Order, Preview, Delivery items etc.) available in the application. Charts are being used to fulfill some specific requirements. Also users can export (or import) data to (or from) spreadsheets.

This database is mainly used for generating various reports from the supplied data. It allows the user to import data which helps to generate reports (such as Best Customer by Customer, Best Customer by Sales Representative, Ageing, Total Dollars by Sales Representative, Total Dollars by All Representatives, Commissions Due for Sales Representatives, Open Orders by Principal, Total orders booked by principal).


Crop Tracking System

This application belonged to the agricultural sector. The client had a variety of information needs that start with the planting of crops to the grading and processing those crops and finally to the accounting of costs in the packaging and delivery of the final product. The existing application was in Access and due to huge amount of data was getting slower. So there was a requirement of migration of the existing MS Access 2000 application into SQL server 2000. The method that was followed was Upsizing data without making any modifications to the Access application. In this method the application specific logic and the user interfaces are not migrated. Only data is migrated. The Upsizing Wizard upsize an Access database to a new or existing SQL Server database and creates an ADP project The Forms, Reports, Modules and Macros are imported from the Access .mdb file. Then the queries were changed. Basically these were of three types Views, Stored Procedures and functions. And finally DAO to ADO code conversion was applied throughout the application.


Data Parser

The client was having huge sets of data lying in flat files. So they wanted a mechanism to be developed that would allow them to migrate these data into the access database. So MIndfire was involved in writing the data parser program for them.  The data had to be read from the file, validated, parsed and then inserted into the access database table. Later a series of reports were implemented as per the requirements that used this imported data.

Photo Migration Tool

The requirement involved the development of a migration tool that will convert the bit map image into the desired format. Mindfire developed the application
that would  ask the user for specific information and extract the bitmap image from the database table and convert it to the equivalent .Bmp file


Schedule Trips Report Generator

This application is used for generating reports from tab delimited text files which in turn are output of a scheduling application.

The report application reads the data from the file and saves the data into a temporary table in the access database table and generates the access report on the fly in the desired formats.

It also gives an option to the end user to add comments to the report. Print out of these reports are then taken out and  handed over to the specific drivers who have been scheduled the trips. This portable application helps the tour manager to easily manage the scheduled trips  and hand over requisite info to the respective drivers to conduct the trips as per the schedules.


ASP Content Management System

This project involved the development of a website that would allow different artists to put up their works and details and have their own site to be displayed publicly.

The artist is required to make his valid login and then he can upload his graphic works which he want to be displayed .He is given the ability to make choices to display his personal details like email ,phn,fax etc in different styles and also to have only certain parts of his details as public.

After uploading his work and giving the details, the site provides him five-six layout choices .He can select his layout template and then can have his site displayed in the particular layout with the thumbnails of the uploaded images.
The thumbnails are made on the fly from his uploaded full size images using AspJpeg and AspUpload .

Also the illustrator is provided the choice to select the background and text color for his site.The site is displayed publicly only if the artist pays for it.
Each of the illustrator has his styles and mediums for his works defined.

The artist can change the layout,background and text color for his site at a later point of time after he logs in.

The site defines a list of predefined styles and mediums .The public can search the related Illustrator by style and medium of their works, alphabetically by Artist's name and can have a readily accessible portfolio for art directors, creative directors, and graphic arts professionals seeking everything from print illustration to packaging to books and book covers to spot illustration and animation.
