Vehicle Trail Tracking System GPS Solution Provider

This was VB 6.0 application that was using ESRI Shapefile to represet the a map by using geographical reference data and creating different layers on the map. Allows the Users to create, view, delete and upload trails to facilitate the tracking of vehicular data related to movement. It also shows the GPS time delay over the current time. We were assigned the job of enhancing the application by fixing the existing bugs that were present and also added some more additional functionality/ features as requested. Externally this application was using ESRI Shapefile to display the map data.

This application is executed on daily basis to update the the price for all the vehicle across all dealers in the database.The Vehicle price is calculated according to the no. of days present in the stock.Apart from that it also
takes some other paramaters like Price lock staus,Active Dealer status to determine the priciing. The application can be configured to be executed for individual dealers as well a set of dealers.After calculation, the price gets updated in to the database and the updated price is populated on the website.

Vehicle Data Export Tool Software Service Company

This Application is used to do some uniform vehicle data massaging and field separation of database string fields and finally export that data to another table.
The exported data are then sent as data feed to other sites which help is promoting vehicle sales.The Exported data that the data feeds utilize are separate and distinct fields (so as not to have to parse a string each time on the creation of an outbound data field), and the data itself is in a common format the customers have become accustomed to.
Even the application provides a very user friendly interface to change the data format of the generated files based on the data feed sites requirement.
Log files are being maintained to track the export status.Mindfire was involved in the design , development and maintenence of the application.

No copy of the word document is saved on the local machine.

The product is a web crawler that crawls for classified data. Works with any web site address inputted, crawls the pages and parse it to collect the contact information and advertisement text of the advertisers on the pages. The information picked up includes Name, City, State , Country, Phone numbers, Email address , Advertisement text etc. This information is kept in database and is used to print postcards either daily, weekly or monthly basis. The browsed pages information and postback data are also kept in Database so that every time the user do not have to browse the same set of pages. The crawler also has Browser Assistant by which one can crawler the links present in the page without going through the links manually.

The application uses Internet Explorer object and regular expression to parse each of the page and collect the information.

This application is used by financial advisors to handle their customer information in a much easier and efficient manner.The project has different modules such as Resource library, Summary section, To-Do sections, Albridge Interface etc.

Resource library is used to store, display and modify an extensive collection of letters, service letters, agendas, articles, and notes as Word\PDF
documents.

Summary section involves storing the activities generated by the system for each client. It has also the functionality to create and display new files and
folders in the client directory.

ToDo section includes calendar, tasks and appointments and has the functionality to create recurring appointments, show reminders for future appointments and also assign tasks or appointments in a multi user environment.

Albridge Interface provides a quick access to Albridge web services so that the user need not enter the user name and password every time to access the
website and after logging into the website the actions done are independent of the PRB application. For this the user has to set the albridge account
information in the Manage user security section and then access the albridge services with this information also can search for a particular client using the specific albridge id.

We worked on fixing bugs & issues in the existing system and adding new features.

Vehicle Rental System Software Service Provider

This is a windows based project designed in VB 6.0 with MS Access in the back end. It deals with the Vehicle Rental System. Keeping track of the vehicle information, customer records, customer rental agreements, reservations, embedded Credit Card Swipe, document scanning and payment transactions etc. Customer can reserve a vehicle for the future date and while taking the vehicle on rent (against the reservation or on a direct appearance basis), he/she has to sign a Rental Agreement with the rental company and submit the Driving license and/or insurance documents copy as proof of identity. The embedded document scanning functionality invokes the scanner and scan a photo copy of the documents. Customer can avail a number of payment options like Cash, Credit Card, Bill etc. The embedded credit card swipe machine functionality accepts the payment from the credit card swipe machine while paying against the reservation, batch entry, rental agreement opening/closing process etc. Manually credit card data entry is also an add-on facility in this system to pay the amount. Including this, vehicle maintenance also available to keep the vehicle and maintain the status. RentWare also having a Management Module to have a deeper look into the reports like, Daily Business Reports, Vehicle Utillisation Reports, Daily Reservation Reports, Active and Closed Rental Agreeement Reports etc and managing all the administrative functionalities like Customer Management, using database maintenance tools etc. The database maintenance module helps in maintaining the database like maintening old records, compact and repair database etc. Along with all the above functionality RentWare supports the utillities like Sticky Notes through out the Rental Agreement cycle (begines with Open RA and ends with the Deletion of Closed RA), SnapShot (enables a quick view of the whole day business summary including sales, vehicle utilisation, vehicle availability, reservations to cover etc.), News Letter Alert (automatic screen alert when a new news letter gets published by Argo), Promotion Alert (automatic screen alert when a promotion gets published by Argo).



RentWare can be used in a client server environment. It identifies the other terminals as stations and register them with specific station IDs. It automatically commited the DB changes to the server while gets started for the first time after the changes made to it.



RWW-WTS module enables the RentWare to run on a Windows Terminal Server. RWW-WTS is also a part of RentWare but runs as an independent module in the Server only. It allows multiple users to get logged in to the server and work on the single installed instance with different databases. The RWW-WTS module actually runs in the background to sense the currently logged in windows user and decide the relevant database for that user. So when user gets logged into the RentWare s/he can only be able to see her/his data.

RMS Addon Retail Store Owner

This is a desktop application responsible for scanning ItemLookupcode using a bar code reader. The scanned item's details are then populated in the form. For new item scanned, the form will clear all fields. So user can add new item or edit existing item and save the details to Database. The transaction history for last week, last month, last year etc are also displayed in the form for reference. User can also add the items to a given purchase order with quantity and reorder information.



The add-in involves the use of a bar code reader and provides easy steps for adding and updating items to RMS database without using the Store manager or POS.
