Setup Magento shopping cart application for a medical supplies website. Created template and integrated with Magento based on design of existing website provided by the client. Implemented several customizations for an online medical supplies seller. The online store was implemented using Magento and we customized the checkout flow and product display. Designed and implemented a unique custom Magento extension that allows for generating multiple coupon codes for a specific promotion. The admin can duplicate an existing rule or a coupon to create several unique coupons that can be then distributed and used by website users. We also implemented creation of coupon codes from a csv file upload containing codes. Checks and rules were implemented for duplicate coupon code detection and replacement of such values with new unique codes. Other features we implemented was pattern definition of the coupon with length checks. The extension helps users create coupons for any price rule.

Created custom Magento template from designs provided. Implemented a custom banner slider with featured category logos shown in slider in both header and footer sections of the site. Implemented a custom vertical navigation category menu and custom designs for all inner pages. Designed and implemented a bridge for synchronizing data between Magento e-commerce and vTiger CRM systems. The bridge provides a 1 page how to use document and allows the user to setup the bridge via a user friendly interface. The user can create a map between the fields in the two systems via this interface. Once done the app allows the user to lock the map so that it cannot be over-ridden unless the super admin logs in.

The bridge allows for bi-directional synchronization of customers to and from Magento and vtiger systems. Sales orders are also synchronized and updated in the vTiger CRM. Further the application also allows <> products created in Magento to be synchronized with vTiger CRM.

The synchronization bridge uses APIs exposed by both Magento and vTiger. The application has a standard installer which makes it very simple for the user to setup.

Setup a Magento store that allows customers to create their products for sale online. Vistors can then purchase these products. Created a custom theme for the store front and for the seller profile. PSD files were provided by the client and we created the templates and added in jQuery effects. The application requires that posted products be approved by an admin before they are visible to visitors. Implemented rating feature for sellers and the ability to comment on seller profiles.

Designed and implemented an upgrade for an existing Magento website that allows for sales of mobile phones and accessories. Converted PSD files to HTML/CSS based templates and integrated with Magento. Customized product display and listing pages along with the checkout process. The site also allows for purchasing unlock codes for selected products based on model, manufacturer, carriers and IMEI codes. Implemented the ability to send Unlock codes via email and sms to the customer. Customized admin screen for viewing sales order details. Implemented custom scripts to import data from the old site to the new install. Used SVN for versioning.

Designed and implemented a custom survey extension that allows customer service representatives to meet with potential customers and create a customized product list based on their preference/needs. The extension allows the admin to enter a specific question for each product in the system. The customer service representative can then view each question based on category, subcategory and product selected and then export a PDF report or a CSV file of the selections/responses to the questions. The extension allows the customer service representative to create the customer account and allows for the list to be added to the customers wishlist in Magento.

Designed and implemented a Magento based online chemical store that allows the chemical labs to shop for variety chemicals of different concentration. The store uses uses an ERP system which hs all the data management done in the ERP. This ERP then integrates with the Magento store to ensure that data is in sync.

When a customer places an order, the Magento Store generates an XML file which is  pushed to a ftp server and this order is then dispatched to the ERP system at the warehouse where order is processed, packaged and shipped.

Once the order is ready for shipment the cost to ship and the tax amount are calculated, and with other details related to the order are updated within the ERP system. Once details are available, a Magento API is called by a remote script to create a duplicate order of the existing one adding the shipping and the tax cost to the order and the order is dispatched.

Implemented a magento based ecommerce application that allows artists to showcase their Artwork. The artists can register and upload their artwork (images/videos). Once the Artwork is approved by the admin then it is available for purchase on the Magento store. Artist can sign up by paying registration fees and after that they are allowed to upload artwork. Created custom modules for Paypal split payments for distributing amount between artist and admin on each sale, also created custom module for adding an extra charge per line item in cart for each item. Customers can signin on the site by using their facebook credentials. Integrated Digimarc Scripted Embedder for digital watermarking artwork files. Here, artists can also upload videos of their artwork and we play the videos using JWplayer. Integrated lytebox for showing artwork and carosuel for showing artwork thumbnails on slideshow. Added a new layout for showing the artworks. Integrated Facebook like and send functionality in the art details page. ==== Project 2: Name : Magento store for Spectacle Frames Tags : Magento, LAMP, PHP, Mysql, Jquery, Paypal, SVN Description : Implemented a unique tryon module where a customer can try different spectacle frames with pictures they upload. Implemented ability to drag and drop frames and place the frames at the desired location on the uploaded image. Implemented zoom for images for user to position frame on the image as desired. Implemented module for saving favorite frames where a user can have favorite frames for a particular session. A dynamic store map was created to display nearest store in a modal window. Added the save prescription functionality for the registered user, where they can save their last prescription and import it instead of filling entire form again. Added the see prescription details show/hide functionality in the cart page.
